Cybersecurity Awareness & Training Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
• Support the administration of the cybersecurity awareness program and campaigns, including planning, delivering, and tracking group and individual training requirements.
• Develop and maintain information security awareness training activities that effectively motivate desired behaviors, so our users handle data and systems in a secure manner.
• Support comprehensive communication efforts that build cybersecurity awareness across the agency.
• Support the collection and reporting of cybersecurity awareness program metrics.
• Identify cybersecurity training, education, and awareness activities appropriate for agency audiences, training requirements, and compliance objectives.
• Understand the unique needs of the organization and department (ex., goals, services, tools, and processes) to produce effective and relevant communication strategies.
• Support the development of internal communication strategies that engage and inspire employees with our vision and culture while enhancing their understanding of ITS strategic imperatives.
• Partner with the team as liaison between ITS Security and other departments on cybersecurity awareness program activities.
• Coordinate, draft, review, and edit publications for agency-wide and department intranet content.
• Partner with various departments and ITS Leadership on communication and change management strategies.
• Articulate process steps and evidentiary materials to auditors, inspectors, regulators, reviewers, stakeholders, and third parties, as required.
• Work with external vendors and agency partners as needed to establish quotes, production schedules, delivery, and implementation of materials. 

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Apply a basic knowledge of information security and risk mitigation principles, theories, and techniques in daily work.
• 5 years plus of experience in creating and executing IT Security communications and marketing-related strategies, with an emphasis on IT. 
• 3 years plus of experience in supporting, coordinating, and delivering a cybersecurity awareness program. 
• Strong experience in an operations or business support role. 
• Extensive familiarity with multi-mode communication channels, including but not limited to direct, mobile, electronic, written, personal, etc. 
• Experience with technology such as Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Intranets, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). 
• Strong skills in strategic planning, business analysis, project management, and process improvement. 
• Demonstrated understanding and exceptional project management methodologies and skills, including the ability to plan, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program over the longer term. 
• Proven analytical abilities to recognize issues/situations that require action, perform research and fact finding, present alternatives, and formulate, recommend, and implement solutions. 
• Strong consulting skills include strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach. 
• Knowledge of applicable data security and privacy practices and laws. 
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio).
