Project Manager – Oracle Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with the Senior Management and key stakeholders to define Oracle ERP and Oracle Business Suits projects’ scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, value proposition/rationale, and impacted organizational functions and systems.
- Integrate business solution in large and/or global businesses, implement Oracle ERP level and Oracle Business solutions, and be a liaison between all project members (from executive sponsors to the delivery and to the end users).
- Ability to align ITS strategy with corporate objectives, lead business process reengineering, experiences in Cloud computing, conflict resolution, and negotiation of changes in project’s priority and scope.

- Promote and direct value-added solution. Secure project resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and the third-party contractors or resources. Assign project roles; manage project scope, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Communicate project status to executive, project leadership, and the entire project team. Conduct project meetings and facilitate collaborative discussions with all project team members (on or off- shore).
- Lead project management activities and project deliverables (including preparation and management of project documents (i.e., Project Charter, Project Plans, Project Status Updates, Issue and Action Item Log, Meeting Agendas, Project Specific Deliverables, etc.).
- Compile, verify, and execute Oracle projects’ scope of work (SOW), complete comprehensive system requirements, draw a comprehensive project plan, prepare communication and other project related plans as needed, and manage the execution of them all.
- Draft project proposals, Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), budget estimates, cash flow projections and preliminary project work schedules.
- Gather, document, analyze and draw conclusions regarding complex data and information (including Workflow, Feasibility, and Cost/Benefit).
- Formulate, define, and implement improvements to business processes and operations.
- Manage the creation and execution of thorough testing scenarios, document results, and develop remediation plans with ITS to address unmet business requirements for all testing phases (Unit through UAT, Integration, and regression).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in project and program management of Oracle ERP systems and application suits. At least five successful ERP full suite systems implementation, upgrade, and support, with two or more in 12.2 and two in cloud.
- With a minimum of 20+ years of project management experience with full Oracle financial and HCM (HR, Payroll, Advanced Benefits, and Oracle Time Entry) business suits and Fusion.
- Extensive experience with Oracle ERP Suite of business systems as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution and Cloud implementation (at least 2-3 full cycle projects).
- Bachelor's degree - Computer Science, Information Systems, Business/Public Administration, or another related technical/IT program. Master’s Degree highly preferred. Leadership and project management training are beneficial. PMP certification or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal senior management. Solid active listening, facilitation, and presentation skills. Impeccable customer relationship builder and customer support.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Services, OBIEE / OBIA, Supply Chain Management, Taleo, Salesforce, Oracle CRM, business plans, systems methodology, project planning and scheduling, Sarbanes Oxley, and up to date knowledge of the Oracle and industry best practices and offerings.
- Extensive experience (20+ years) with Project Management (tools, tactics, and methodologies), operating policies, procedures, and practices.
- Extensive experience (20+ years) with large scale technology implementation, custom development and data and systems integrations.
- Solid Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Skillfully build, lead and motivate top[ performing teams to produce high quality results on time and within budget, control costs, cultivate and maintain mutually beneficial business alliances, and execute large-scale Oracle ERP projects within strict constraints.
