Auriga Corporation is looking for an experienced, talented and self-motivated individual to join our team to help us provide our customers with innovative and cost-effective solutions and services. Auriga Corporation was established in 1990, to provide high-quality design, engineering and project management services for Electric Power, Telecommunication and Information Technology systems. Auriga’s client includes investor owned and municipal utilities, rail and transit agencies, federal, state and local government agencies, and international public and private sector organizations.

Experience: 2 or more years of experience:

· General knowledge of Rail Communication Systems

· Knowledge or experience of fiber optic cable systems, RF digital communication systems, radio systems, AC/DC power systems, communication cable distribution; telephone, CCTV, Public Address, Intercom, SCADA and network security systems

· Experience or good understanding of fire alarm systems.

· Experience or good understanding of Cable Transmission Systems (fiber backbone installation, inspection, testing and design review)

· Experience with Metro rail, commuter rail or freight rail is highly desirable

· Strong verbal and written communications skills are required including presentations to stakeholders,

· Attention to details, strong client relationships and teamwork.

· AutoCAD proficiency is desirable.

· Knowledge/exposure of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to rail communication systems

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited college or university.

License: Valid Registration as a PE or an EIT (Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering) in the State of California is an added plus.
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
