Auriga Corporation currently has following vacancies in the Milpitas, California Office:
Senior Electrical Engineer
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design electric power substations (34.5kV – 500kV)
  • Perform calculations (short circuit, relay coordination, etc.)
  • Revise and develop electrical engineering design drawings that include one-line diagram, three-line schematic, DC schematic, physical layout drawings, wiring/interconnection drawings, annunciation, RTU function, RTU drawings to remove all existing protection relays including carrier communication connectivity and install new relays with new communication connectivity at each terminal
  • Control schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment arrangement and plans drawings
  • Design of Protection Control Circuits for New Substations
  • Develop wiring diagrams for the control circuits of the circuit breakers for Substation
  • Create the Input/output List for the Control Processors at Substations 
  • Develop Bill of Material
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Electrical Engineering, P.E. is a plus
  • 7-10 Years experience in design and engineering for electrical power substations 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • Prior consulting or utility experience is a plus.

Compensation: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
